2020 FCF Trace

Attention FCF’ers

IT’s getting that time again, for us’ns to gather from all around the Colonies to Possum Kingdom. As we gather there will be fun, frolic, competitions, but most of all time to worship and share God’s word.

Also we are wanting this to be a Reunion Trace. Please if you have Brother FCF’ERS you know that haven’t met with us in a while invite them and bring them with you. Our Chairman’s goal is 100 at Trace. Let’s work hard to help this happen.

Again we need, especially our Buckskin and Wilderness to make some nice prizes for our competitions. If you would like you may go to James Townsend or Smoke and Fire, there are many others to get prizes. Please, we have been very lack in this area, just covering Young Bucks 1ST prize. So please help us out here. Anyone can make or bring items for prizes.

Also don’t forget Mission AUCTION ITEMS!!! Last year we raised over $2000 and an FCF’ER matched that to make it over $4000. Awesome but we can do even greater!!

Our focus this year is “More Than Conquerors”, Romans 8:37.  We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus!!

Dates: September 18th – 20th

Cost: $25 for all.

Also you need to bring your dues of $15, Young Bucks still in school or Active Military is no fee for dues.

Theme “More Than Conquerors” (Superheroes)
Our scripture verse comes from Romans 8:37
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

In a world where evil forces are fighting all around us, it is time for our young men and adults to step up and be the leaders God has called us to be. Time to take the fight to the enemy. But we must remember who our enemy is. Our war is not against flesh and blood and our weapons are not carnal. We fight the supernatural. The devil. And he is a roaming lion seeking for anyone whom he may devour. His biggest weapons are lies and fear. He will lie to you and tell you are not good enough. With the recent outbreak of Coronavirus, fear has taken hold of millions of people around the world! But we serve a God who conquered sickness, fear, and death. We have been given the greatest weapons of all. God as a father, His Son, Jesus as a savior, and His Spirit living inside us. And if God be for us who can be against us? It is time…no, it is past time to step up and be the super hero God has called us to be. “And to those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.” Romans 8:30. If God has called you to it, He has already equipped you to fight through it!!

Another big point of interest this year is fathers and sons. I was blessed to be born into a lineage of Godly fathers. One of my first memories as a child was camping with my dad at River Oaks. My grandfather was an Assembly of God pastor. It is important for dads to be heroes and spend time with their sons and teach them to be Godly young men. So we are encouraging fathers, who may not even be involved in Royal Rangers, to attend Pow Wow with their sons. Now as we know, many boys in our churches do not have a strong male role model in their lives. That is where YOU as an outpost leader can step in and be a spiritual father to them. You can become a superhero to those boys who need it. On top of having a great dad, Royal Rangers has given me so many spiritual fathers who are like family to me. I’m referring to many of you reading this now. All of you have the great opportunity to be a hero father to the fatherless. But of course, beyond anything we can do as an earthy father, our Heavenly Father can do more than we can ask or think. Psalm 68:5 says He is “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows.” With that being said, reach out to the dads in your church and community and encourage them to be a part of this Pow Wow. They will make memories that will stick with them forever and who knows…you may even get a new RR commander.

While it is true that the devil can be a conqueror, if we allow him to be….But we are “MORE THAN CONQUERORS” through Him that loves us.

Please feel free to call, text, or email me with ideas, costumes, or if you or any adventure ranger or older would like to be a part of our Pow Wow pageant. Thank you all for allowing me to serve you.
