2015 Territorial Rendezvous

fcf_logo_new2015 Territorial Rendezvous

It’s getting close to that journey where we meet up with other frontiersmen where we can do some trading and swapping ideas and share our skills.
This year we will be at an Historical park in Lumpkin GA.
October 22-24.
Attached is the information packet and a site map. Please read and know all rules and regulations that are required in packet.
This is a public park and we will have visitors coming through our site, The park officials have let us know that visitors will be asking questions about our time period, so hone up on the history of your time period your are depicting. Also know the history of your skill and do a good job at demonstrating it.
We are in charge of the Archery competition this year. We need 3d targets or any ideas you have about doing the archery competitively, this time period. Also We need 2 nice prizes for the winners. One for Young Buck and one for Old Timers. Please would love to be an item that is handmade and something you would be proud to own and show off.
If you have any questions about Territorial, please contact me.

FCF Wilderness Requirements

I would like to give you some information about the Wilderness Vigil that will be conducted at the 2014 National Rendezvous. The Wilderness Vigil that will be held at Rendezvous will be unique in the fact that it will have features that draw from existing vigil requirements as well as be a preview for a completely new Wilderness Vigil experience. We are going to need your help to make the National Rendezvous Wilderness Vigil a memorable experience for the candidates attempting to complete this most distinguished advancement level in the FCF.

If you have a chapter member that is ready to attempt the Wilderness Vigil, please fill out the attached Wilderness Advancement Application and send to Don Coplin at the address below. The Wilderness Vigil fee will be $30 and will need to accompany the advancement application. Please make checks payable to: National FCF. Applications must be submitted by June 15, 2014. Once Don receives the application, a welcome letter will be sent to the candidate providing details about the Wilderness Vigil as well as steps to take to prepare for the Vigil.

Wilderness Application

The Wilderness Vigil will start promptly at noon on Monday, July, 14. Candidates will come out of the woods for the evening service. The National Rendezvous theme is “Shaking the Wilderness” and the wilderness candidates will gain an important spiritual message from the evening service. The Wilderness Vigil ceremony will take place at the Tuesday morning devotion.

Don Coplin will be contacting each of you in an attempt to garner help for the Wilderness Vigil. One important requirement that you should know is that each wilderness candidate will need to have another wilderness member accompany them through the Vigil. These wilderness members will end up becoming the Vigil Staff.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
